| This one has to go on Xanga...
So, I've been gone in the world of xanga for 4 months... yeah, ish happened, but nothing like the last two weeks.
Besides the gayest falling out with a friend EVER, Vegas tops it.
So, a group of us headed out to Vegas for Russell's b-day. We left Thanksgiving night, around 10ish. We got there around 3 in the morning, gambled ourselves silly, ate a disgusting breakfast at 7, did god-knows-what til 1:00, then checked into the hotel and passed the f out. Woke up, ate, gambled, blah blah, the usual Vegas stuff. We watched a show, drank some drinks, we laughed, we were merry, did all the great stuff that people do when in Las Vegas. We were having the best Vegas trip ever. THEN, late friday night, the four of us in Russell's car went to meet Peter in the Excalibur parking lot to get our things from Peter's car. After driving around and around and around, we finally found him, waited forEVER for this lady to pull out, parked, grabbed our ish, then went to the room. We gambled some more, drank some more, etc. etc. etc. Peter and Jini left around 3 in the morning, while Hochan, Alex, Russell, and I went up to the room. I took a shower, got changed into my PJs, came out, and everyone decided that they wanted to get hot dogs from Circus Circus. So I got ready, changed BACK into my clothes, came out, and found everyone "sleeping." ha.. ha.. How funny they were to pretend like they didn't want to go anymore. Too bad that while pretending to sleep, they really got tired and we really ended up not going So anyway, we all passed out for the night and woke up the next afternoon around 2. We decided to go eat lunch, so we got ready and walked down to the parking lot. We walked to where we had parked the car and... you guessed it... the car wasn't there. We walked around a little bit, but not too far because we were positive of where we had parked (except for Hochan who kept saying "let's just think for a minute!") We went to security, they drove us around, didn't find the car, called the cops, waited for 438247398256743250432895 hours and bonded with the big black security guy, exchanging stories and laughing. Oh what a day. When the "cops" (in-training, that is, aka "cadets") FINALLY came, they told us that we were the 3rd stolen vehicle report since their shift started only two hours prior. Turns out that there's this huge ring of people going around jacking all these cars and the cops can't do shit about it. Damn good for nothing pigs. And instead of winning the progressive, it was our luck to be one of the chosen ones to get jacked To make a long story short, it was a BIATCH figuring everything out and getting a rental car and all that ish. Conclusion: #1 - do not ever ever ever ever ever drive to Vegas. If you must, rent a car!!!!! #2 - we should've gotten hot dogs . Sucks too cuz Russell had his brand new one-day old DVD player in there, like 23432543 DVDs, X-mas presents that he had just bought, and the worst of all... my favorite shoes Only kidding, but still, it sucks.
So, needless to say, we all got fucked up that night, played poker for 12+ hours (ok maybe that was just me and Alex), and walked away broke, as we should've (ok maybe I was the only one who walked away broke). But I DID catch a royal flush which will probably never happen to me again. And what did I win? Jack shit cuz I was at a 1-3 table
So that was Vegas in a nutshell. Just thought that one deserved to go on Xanga. Everyone give love to Russell cuz all he got for his birthday was a jacked car He handled it very well though.... My psycho ass would've walked ALLLLL over Vegas with a gun in one hand and a knife in the other. Hope you all had a better weekend...

| Greetings from Seoul!! I've been here about 5 days now? Damn how time just flies by. I wish I could get done as much as we've done here done at home. So basically, our schedule consists of waking up, getting ready, eating, taking the subway somewhere, arriving then eating, taking the subway somewhere else, arriving then eating, taking the subway somewhere else, arriving then eating, ... well, you get the picture. Before we left, we decided that we wouldn't worry about how much or what we were going to eat while in Korea, then work out like crazy when we got home. Yeah, you know how that works... I'm gonna gain 20 pounds, become even lazier and more of a blubbler ass and then I'm REALLY not gonna exercise. Blah whatever tho... the food is just TOO damn good Although we have been hiking a few times up these ridiculously steep hills, so I try to use that to make myself feel better.
I have mastered the art of pretending to understand Korean. I know exactly when to say "ohhhh" and "neeeehhh" and even let out a little snicker. So far I've only had one fuck up when this guy was selling snowboard type jackets and pants on the side of the road. I asked him how much, and I could have sworn he said 2,000 won, but alas, he had said 20,000 won. I felt bad when we gave back all the jackets were were about to buy
There hasn't been any REALLY REALLY embarassing moment yet, but I'm sure it's just waiting and building up and when it happens, it's going to blow up in my face
So there's this shopping area where everyone goes late at night. We're probably going to go tonight. I guess a lot of people catch the last subway out there, shop all night, then catch the first subway in the morning home. Sounds fun, but I don't usually last very long shopping... 1-2 hrs max... I'm gonna be stranded and FORCED to shop. Damn.
Hrrmmmm... I haven't really been too adventurous with the food yet. I just had to pass up on bbundeggi, pan-fried silk worms, i think (I'd really rather not know). But I did try these huge steamed sea snail things. It was actually pretty good. Nasty looking, but good. I passed up on the chicken-ass, cuz i've tried that before . I have yet to come across live baby octopus. I haven't decided yet whether or not I'll try those. Normally, I probably would, except I read horror stories in my Lonely Planet book about people who have choked because the octopus' tentacles suction onto their throats while going down
So, like I said earlier (this entry's all over the place), all we do is eat and I think I've taken a shit ONCE, only because I forced myself to. Ahh, the joys of traveling.
Well, we're off to do the thangs that tourists do in Korea. We'll probably be going to the eastern side of korea tomorrow, then to southern Korea on friday. The drive is 4-5 hrs
Hope you all are doing well at home, working and going to school.... Don't you wish you were here...
| Update time! It's been so long it took me a while to find the button that said "New Weblog Entry." Plus, my brain's shutting down...
So, we leave for Korea in 9 days. I wish I was more excited, but I haven't had any time to get myself psyched up... or prepare... but I'm sure we'll have fun.
Okay this has to be the gayest entry ever, but I started out wanting to update this thing and now i'd really rather just go to sleep. So, sorry... the procrastination will take over for a little while longer...
